SAPHYR- WHORFF THEORY EVIDENCED IN GEORGE ORWELL'S LIFE

George Orwell was an English novelist, essayist, and critic most famous for his novels Animal Farm (1945) and Nineteen Eighty-four (1949). Born Eric Arthur Blair, George Orwell created some of the best satirical fiction of the 20th century with such works as Animal Farm and Nineteen Eighty-Four. He was a man of strong opinions who addressed some of the major political movements of his times, including imperialism, fascism and communism.
Taking into account the large trajectory of George Orwell in the literature world, and his characteristically way or manner to criticize especially texts, we have to relate him with the SAPHYR- WHORFF THEORY, this is summarized basically in a really simple way to understand, the reality influences the language and the language influences the reality, also it can divide or organize in a little triangle that is made by LITERURE, CULTURE and LANGUAGE also their complement each other, like a mix.
